Whether you're a celebrity an average Joe or Jane what it is they all have in common? We encounter assholes. While it's something we all know in life we have to put up with it regardless wherever we go. It doesn't matter if you make millions or work hard enough just to be broke. Those types of people that come in different forms to ruin your already good day when you first intended to accomplish something with a good attitude, get along with people and be humble earning your living. Why are they the way they are? Well, I'm not just writing this blog to say the word because it sounds funny I'm writing it because I think it needs to be addressed. They act like they do because you have something they want and don't have and they think right away you're not worthy of it because they find themselves a higher grade of human being than you. They look at themselves of higher status and I don't mean celeb status. Like high school when you graduate the "cool kids" as we call them disband from their cliques and in the next level called adulthood. I mean they were already there, but some didn't have a job yet to start acting like an adult. Now you can say the same thing about Danica that got booed for not signing autographs. I can see a fan being pissed off paying all that money to get to Pocono wishing all the time before to get an autograph from his or her favorite driver. Then... you see them and they don't want to sign you one. Bummer huh? The way I look at it is it's her problem for not wanting to sign autographs. Sucks for the fan and overall experience being turned down. Sponsorship is hard to come by in NASCAR. Signing autographs makes that fan more engaging with their fans thus promotes interest in the sponsor that funds their team and generates possible business. I'm not labeling Danica as an "Asshole" or the ones that wanted an autograph because respectively they are her true fans. When fans who dislike her, boo her it kinda goes back to when she first got into NASCAR. Since her time beginning in the sport the reason she receives some of the flack she gets is because truly she didn't work her way up in the ranks. At the rejection of autograph signing she commented publicly to all the fans "Im a f***ing person and it hurts my feelings when I get booed" it went something like that. From her perspective she sees assholes plain and simple. If you question why she didn't sign you an autograph, blame that other negative person that drove her to denying you your autograph. Those fans one time or another have made her see all her flaws and how she hasn't earned her way the right way. Reality? She's here. In the sport regardless how you feel about it. When I go to work, I can say I've gotten there working my way patiently where I'm at today. I can say the two that ideal with daily I get told I don't know what I'm doing and why I pretty much fail at what I do. I go in with the positive attitude, I'm polite and do as I'm asked. I pay my bills and am seen as the person who isn't rightfully entitled to the things I pay for and what I earn. Those two are like Danica's haters. The thing they hate the most is just the fact that we are where we are and it's called tough shit if you don't like it. So if you're reading this you might just be able to relate to it. We live in a world of cause and effect. We influence each other's actions and reactions. We treat others how we feel at different times and those select few treat others how they want to be treated. Where ever I'm at no matter where I see different people who's faces I can't read, but try to make every interaction I make a positive one. Ive found the more people you hate the less friends you have.
